Bill and Cyndi Daves, owners and brokers of FoxFire Realty Group, lived for 38 years in Tampa, Florida. During that time, Bill and Cyndi worked in the insurance, finance and banking, and human services industries before "jumping ship" and making the move to Murphy. After serving as Associate Brokers with a local franchise brokerage and gaining market knowledge in the Murphy area, Bill and Cyndi opened Foxfire Realty Group on September 1, 2001.
10 days later, the country stood in disbelief as the events of September 11 unfolded. Never during that tenuous period did they consider there to be any options other than moving forward. Bill and Cyndi refused, like the rest of America, to be defeated in any way. After a lull of about 3 weeks, the demand for mountain property and rural housing opportunities exploded.
