The Murphy House is located off of Highway 64 and Mission Road. It is in the valley between Downtown Murphy and Downtown Hayesville. No steep mountain roads! This house has a large circular driveway, great for boaters. Lake Chatuge is 15 minutes away and Lake Hiawassee is 20 minutes away. The house is located only 40 minutes from River Rafting in Nantahala and 15 minutes from hiking, bicycling and waterfalls while only 5 minutes from the "Famous" John C. Campbell Folk School.
The Murphy House is a family summer house that was totally remodeled and renovated. It is now a luxury home with one bedroom (queen bed) and a loft with a bunk bed (three twin beds) and a sleeper sofa. The main living room has a sleeper sofa and has cherry hardwood floors. This home can accomodate nine easily.
The kitchen has brand new appliances and cookery for eating in. The bathroom has a washer and dryer. You will love our oversized Rain Forest Shower! Enjoy the quaint Murphy downtown scene with restaurants and antique shopping. Enjoy the serenity of the farm lands and mountains. Sit outside under the stars around our fire pit or under our oversized covered porch.
A great weekend getaway from the city, or summer vacation place. No need to go on, we already know why we want to vacation in the mountains, don't we! This is a Very Nice Place to Stay!
